Led by Dan Brown, Joe Public is an independent creative graphic design company based in Leigh-on-Sea, just forty minutes from London.
Our passion is helping organizations large and small find direction through strategic design and brand identity, helping them stamp their mark and find their voice!
Financial planner and business director Michael Basi wanted Joe Public to create new branding and identity guidelines. After consultation the goal was clear - design a brand which would capture their achievements as an independent family business, while looking to future goals, aspirations and expansion.
Michael Basi states: “Our new branding and design helps our communications focus on our core strength - we are a family firm who offer bespoke financial planning. It has also aided in winning new business.”
Dan Brown is very pleased to announce his selection as one, of only six finalists from an international design competition run by Talenthouse. The judges, Paloma Faith, Rankin and Michael Stephens, selected the six finalists.
In answer to a call from a London based organization ‘The Architecture Foundation’ Joe Public demonstrates how to fuse an existing brand identity with a new print medium newsletter.
This format helps to emphasize that a focus for ‘The Architecture Foundation’ is to promote their exhibitions, education & events.
‘The Trading Standards Institute’ asked Joe Public to demonstrate how their brand could integrate with a series of publications needed for the yearly ‘TSI Conference and Exhibition.’
At the heart sits an ‘informative changing icon system’ which clearly communicates the TSI brand.
A key creative partner of Joe Public, 137 Degrees, wanted to devise new brand identity guidelines. After several creative workshops a final logotype with accompanying graphic mark had been created to ‘stamp’ their vision.
The final brand identity also captures how a full, detailed and strategic web development consultation is central to the 137 Degrees experience.
After designing their new branding and identity guidelines Linhof Studio also asked Joe Public to help update their catalogue. This catalogue needed to provide full specification of each high quality camera brand, including Alpa of Switzerland, Linhof and Gandolfi.
The Sandbar and Seafood Company wanted to create a distinct menu series. Joe Public achieved this through the use of reportage-style photography. Each image had to be expertly set-up and shot on medium format film.
Joe Public turned to another creative partner, photographer, John Attwell, for his skill and knowledge which is clearly evident in the final series.
